Why bother writing any of this down?

A goal that only exists in your head is easy to lose sight of on a hard week. Writing it down — and coming back to it every week and every quarter — is what turns a wish into a plan. See the Coach's Guide for the reasoning behind this, and for both athletes and coaches.
